Summer Awarding-

Considering attending summer school?  Financial aid is available. Please be aware of the following regarding financial aid awarding and eligibility for summer school:

Awarding-Eligibility for Pell Grant, State University Grant and Subsidized/Unsubsidized loans will be automatically determined and awarded by the Financial Aid Office for students who meet all the outlined eligibility requirements. However, Cal Grant, Parent PLUS/Grad PLUS loans and Private Alternative loans must be requested by the student

Eligibility Requirements-Pell Grant requires at least 1 unit of enrollment. All other aid requires a minimum of half-time enrollment; 6 units for Undergraduates & Teacher Credential students, 3 units for Master's & Doctorate students. Financial aid is always offered at full-time amounts (12 or more units for Undergraduates and Credential Students) and then prorated based on enrollment at the time of disbursement. Aid adjustments will take place through census date. This summer has three distinct sessions; a 10-week session and two 5-week sessions. Your enrollment for financial aid eligibility is the total of your enrollment in all of those sessions combined. If taking any Extended Education courses, the courses must be designated as financial aid eligible. If you are only enrolled in the late session summer courses, your summer aid will not disburse until close to the start of that session.

All summer eligible students will be receiving more details soon!

Incoming Freshmen- Intent to Enroll deadline is May 1st

All admitted students must reserve their seat in the incoming class by submitting a $100 non-refundable Intent to Enroll by May 1st for fall admissions, and November 15 for spring admission. You may submit your Intent to Enroll via the link on your To Do List in your portal.

Do you have a Special or Unusual Circumstance?

The ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships would like to make you aware that as an aid applicant, you may apply for a special or unusual circumstance. Adjustments to Cost of Attendance (COA), based on additional incurred cost that exceed the standard COA, to alter the data elements used to calculate the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and/or Dependency status, are ALL considered on a case-by-case basis. This process is known as professional judgement. In certain circumstances, it can extend to declared disasters, emergencies, or economic downturns.

Financial Literacy

In today’s economic climate, coupled with the increasing costs of higher education, it makes sense for students to better educate themselves on money management.  ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ has partnered with CashCourse, whose mission is to equip students with the tools and knowledge they need to help them make informed and thoughtful financial decisions throughout their college careers.
